Summer Cruise Project Recap:

We spent two incredible weeks in beautiful Southern California with 23 students and 4 staff members! Each day, we dove into God’s Word, reading and studying the book of Ephesians together. Throughout the trip, we formed discipleship groups within the larger team. These smaller groups created space for deeper conversations and helped both students and staff open up as we studied Scripture and discussed the messages shared during our time together.

During the first part of the trip in San Diego, we learned practical and effective ways to share our faith—methods like “3 Verses in 3 Minutes,” the “3-Minute Testimony,” and “3 Characters and 1 Big Question.” We then had the opportunity to share the gospel with students on the campus of UC San Diego, which was an incredible experience! Engaging in spiritual conversations with others strengthened our own faith in powerful ways. We also connected with our sister ministry, Campus Outreach San Diego, attending their weekly meeting and worshiping together at Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

The second week of the trip was spent aboard a cruise ship that departed from Long Beach, CA, and traveled to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. Even on the cruise, our group continued to grow in Christian community through Bible studies, talks on world missions, life training sessions, theology discussions, and more. We absolutely loved our time growing and learning together. Until next year!
