Mexico Mission Trip

Our college ministry is heading back to Monterrey, Mexico for the fourth year in a row for our Spring Break mission trip! We’ll be partnering with Núcleo Church and Campus Outreach Monterrey. During our six days there, we’ll embrace the culture, connect with the local church body, grow in our faith, share the Gospel on college campuses, and serve the local community.

Hi my name is Nate Garrigan and I am from Folsom, California. I am currently a freshman at Boise State University and pursuing a degree in Media Communications. I enjoy everything sports, thrifting, and writing. Since coming to Boise State I have been heavily pursuing my faith in Jesus Christ and have been extremely fortunate to find a community in CO. I have found numerous friendships and mentors that push me closer to God every single day. I am looking to take this next step in my walk with The Lord by spreading the gospel to college students in Monterey, Mexico. Hello, my name is Shelby Seekins! I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, and came to Boise state fall of 2024! I am studying elementary education! I found CO in February of my Freshman year. CO taught me a lot of things, but what stands out most of all is what the gospel truly is, and how we are called to share it once we understand it, and also that community is everything when you are growing with Jesus. Those are also the reasons I chose to go to Mexico to serve. I have a changed heart and mind after finding Jesus and want nothing more than to share that joy. I also want to bring the college students in Monterrey together to find community for themselves! Thank you for your prayers and generosity as we take this step!

Hi, my name is Josh Jenike, and I’m a sophomore studying business at Boise State. I’m passionate about snowboarding, rock climbing, and sharing the gospel. I found CO during my freshman year, and through it, Jesus truly began transforming my heart and my life. The community poured into me in ways I’ll always be grateful for. Now, I’m excited for the opportunity to give back by serving the Lord in any way I can. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this mission trip and can’t wait to see how God moves.
